Unless otherwise noted, the services listed below are intended for nonfiction projects. This includes creative nonfiction in all forms, including memoirs, essays, local histories, narrative journalism, and hybrid projects.

My “Ready for Publication” package is available for both fiction and nonfiction projects.

Editing

The following editing packages are suitable for most creative projects. If you are unsure which package meets your needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

I also offer (and encourage) a sample edit before we decide to work together. This is an ideal way to help us determine if the project is a good mutual fit.

DEVELOPMENTAL MANUSCRIPT CRITIQUE: 3.5 cents / word

In-depth feedback in the form of a comprehensive, detailed critique letter.

DEVELOPMENTAL PLUS: 5-6 cents / word

A developmental manuscript critique, as described above, plus line edits and margin notes for the entire manuscript.

READY FOR PUBLICATION: 3.5 cents / word

A “professional once-over” intended to help you ready your manuscript for publication. This service includes two rounds: a copyedit and a final proof. Available for fiction or nonfiction projects.
